Welcome back to The Jade Blog! Generally, African black soap is great for the skin. This is because it has several vitamins, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
African black soap is also good for sensitive skin, as well as a standard acne treatment. The presence of palm kernel oil in it makes it very helpful for those with a dry and sensitive skin.
Persons with skin allergies and irritations can comfortably use the soap, because of the lack of the presence of skin irritants. African black soap generally, does not contain any skin irritants. But it is important to NOTE that some companies that produce these soaps try to improve their soaps from time to time.
After my successful trial of the Dudu Osun Black Soap, i decided to try out another African Black Soap. Zee Black Soap is the most popular and best alternative to the Dudu Osun Black Soap. Check out my Dudu Osun African Black Soap review, by clicking the highlighted texts.
Zee black soap is manufactured in Nigeria by ALCANAH Limited. Located in Ibadan, Oyo, Nigeria. Email: email@example.com
It is an African black soap made traditionally from pure natural herbs with no artificial colors and preservatives. It is also biodegradable like Dudu Osun African Black soap.
Zee Black Soap is made up of natural and skin pampering ingredients like; native black soap base, palm kernel oil, Shea butter, cocoa pod & palm bunch ash solution, cam wood extract (Osun), native honey, Aloe Vera, aqua and fragrance. The major ingredient in this soap is the ALOE VERA.
Packaging of this soap is not all that like the Dudu osun soap. The soap is packaged first in a plastic cover and then placed in a carton as can be seen below.
Personally at first, I was of the view that it’s a soap for all, as I said in my Dudu Osun Black Soap review. Upon further Research, I discovered that some people react to Aloe Vera. Please! try to use this soap on a part of your body first, before full body usage.
The standard size of Zee black soap is 85KG. This soap is really small compared to DUDU OSUN. Note that it doesn’t melt like Dudu Osun. This is a plus for the Zee black Soap.
- Lathers and cleans very well.
- Has this nice and amazing natural feel to the skin.
- It helps exfoliate the skin.
- It doesn’t melt away like the Dudu Osun Soap.
- Leaves your skin soft and supple right afterwards.
- Ensures your hair remains lush and free from dandruff and lice because of the natural and hair friendly ingredients in it. I was more comfortable using this soap for my hair because of the Aloe Vera in it.
- The Fragrance is not all that for me.
- Personally, the packaging is discouraging.
